And I'm just getting started.

Joschi Herczeg & Daniele Kaehr

“The artistic duo Joschi Herczeg and Daniele Kaehr create light illusions using highly complex pyrotechnics. In their series Explosion, they built a custom-made detonator, which is connected to the cameras and synchronized to snap a photo at the very moment of the explosion. In this way, they were able to capture motion and time in a split second of an explosion.”

Artist Julia Chiang uses Ring Pops for an art installation at the Oh-Wow gallery. The candy begins to melt over time as the ceiling light hits each object.

today i wanted to do something a little crafty so i went and remixed some crayons!

  • all you need is a shaped pan that can handle high oven heat.
  • a box of crayons (i used a box of 120. you can buy it at target for only $5.99! so worth it)

peel your crayons and break into smaller pieces for each individual shape. coming up with color combinations is the funnest part. fill it to the top or as much as you can.

bake at 275 degrees for about fifteen minutes or until all your crayons are melted.

put in the freezer until they are completely cooled. like completely cooled.

once cooled, take them out of their molds and admire how pretty your remixed crayons are!
